Adding posts in wordpress is simple. Follow the steps below to add new posts:
1. Visit your wordpress blog admin console. Example: www.yourdomain.com/blog/wp-admin
2. Enter your wordpress username and password
3. Once you login to the wordpress admin console, on the top left hand side (below the dashboard link), there is a section called posts
4. Click on ADD NEW link to add a new post
5. You will be able to view text boxes to enter the Name of the post and enter the contents of the blog on the right hand side
6. Select the category to which you want to add the post (the category section is on the right hand side (Below the PUBLISH section)
7. If you have added wordpress SEO plugins, you will get an option at the bottom of the page (All in one seo pack), where you can enter the page title, description and add keywords
8. You need to ensure that your page title and description contains the keywords if you wish to optimize the posts for SEO
9 Once you have added all the details, go to the PUBLISH section on the top right hand side and click on PUBLISH.
Your post will be added to your website instantly.
